It all started with a call…

A business analyst was going about her daily routine at work when a cold caller approached her to be an investor. The cold caller went about his sales talk with inaccurate facts (unaware of Joyce’s stellar financial background). His approach was hard sell, sales oriented and pushy – common traits found in industry. It did not take long for Joyce to sense a gap between the industry and professionals, like herself who yearned for the truth or total transparency before investing.

The call turned into a calling…

In 1998, the economy was in a bad shape – people were cash trapped due to high borrowing cost loans (BLR was at 12%), many lost good money in the stock market and numerous confused with what to do due to being retrenched. Joyce was driven by the desire to raise financial literacy amongst Malaysians – to do the job right, tell them what they needed to hear and more so, what they have not heard before. While many businesses were taking a downturn, Joyce saw a business opportunity. But she knew she could not do it alone.

And the calling became a concept of success…

Success Concepts was established in 2000 with an aim to generate a team of elite professionals who are not just financially sound, but who cared to speak from the heart… preferably, from their own experience. What sprouted from one person’s vision, shared by a handful of key leaders (who are still with the company), flourished into a course embarked by close to 100 team members and planners today.
