Half Day Workshop

Getting started is the hardest part of Financial Planning. This workshop is created so that participants can personally discuss their own personal financial plans with an experienced Financial Planner, who can help them prioritize financial goals and discover gaps in their financial lives before time runs out.

At the end of the session, participants can appreciate the value of putting pen to paper and inspire participants to act on their financial plans seriously.

Goals of the Program

  1. Introduce the importance of Financial Planning.
  2. Take stock of your current financial life.
  3. Identify key gaps in meeting your financial milestones.

Module 1: Protecting your Finances

  • The concept of income replacement
  • Covering medical bills
  • Long term living benefits
  • Matching risk management needs

Module 2: Key investment Concepts

  • Saving, investing, speculating
  • Understanding risk and returns
  • Managing emotions
  • Owning an efficient portfolio

Post workshop: Putting pen to paper

Personal guidance on participants’ personal finance will be provided on a one on one basis. At the end of the session, participants can appreciate the value of a personal financial guide to tailor their financial roadmap based on their goals and finances.

The key to understanding personal finance is to apply concepts to real life planning scenarios. Hence, participants are required to use their own personal financial data for the sessions to be relevant. Some preparation work is required before the program.

Each module will include:

  • Concept sharing (45 mins) and Q&A (15 mins).
  • Experiential workshop spreadsheets (45 mins).
